"Isn't it amazing what a little bit of information from the past can do to help change your view of the present and the present world around you?"  - Dr. Del Tackett

Being a Young Earth believer myself, I've seen a lot of Creation and Biblical Geology videos. Recently I had the chance to watch the new movie, Is Genesis History?  Made for ages 12 and up due to the complexity of materials presented, I'd have to say it's a well rounded production explaining science, history, and archaeology.  Though Biblical references are not hit upon right out of the starting block, they are present towards the middle to end of the flick.  I liked this approach because it showed the physical evidence for the belief in a Young Earth up front.  I also like that fact that it was presented in a adult fashion without any silly bells and whistles all within 101 minutes.  It was how I would like to be approached with this information as an adult not believing or knowing anything about a Young Earth.

Though I knew much of the geology information, I did appreciate learning a Creationists timeline of Geology:  Creation Epoch, Edenian Epoch, Anti-Dilivian, Post Flood and Modern Epoch all which fit in nicely with their very well done explanation of continental wide strata that extends across much of North America.

Host Del Tackett along with an impressive crew bring Genesis to life!

Thanks for posting this review. I really wanted to see the movie but wasn't able to. We have family that comes from a scientific background so I think this film would be helpful for them to see. I also believe in a young earth.
