NuNaturals Review and Giveaway!
For over 27 years, NuNaturals has provided the highest quality, best tasting, non-bitter, Stevia products on the market! Their products are free from MSG, soy, sugar, synthetics, artificial colors or flavors, Saccharin, Aspartame, Sucralose and artificial sweeteners.
NuNaturals sweetners are perfect for dieters and do not effect blood sugar levels! Plus, they just taste FABULOUS!
New products include Dutch Processed Cocoa Powder and Oat Fiber.
To test out these items, we made brownies from scratch. Though you can make gluten free brownies, my daughter chose to use regular wheat flour. The Oat Fiber is a wonderful way to get more fiber in your diet. We substituted 1 1/2 Tbsp of the fiber for 1 1/2 Tbsp of flour. This Oat Fiber can also be added to cereals and smoothies.
The brownies turned out delicious and disappeared within minutes. I'm lucky to have gotten the above photo! Best thing is, the cocoa we used from NuNaturals is JUST cocoa without any additives and can also be used in cakes and hot cocoa!
Speaking of cocoa, NuNaturals also has a fabulous Cocoa AND Cocoa Mint Syrup that will knock your socks off!
At first glance, you might say to yourself that buying NuStevia Cocoa Syrup is too expensive. Let me break it down for you as compared to Hershey's Chocolate Syrup.
A 2 Tbsp servings of Hershey's is about 16 cents. With that you also get 100 calories, 20 grams of sugar, 24 grams of carbs, 15 mg of Sodium PLUS High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Syrup, Water, Cocoa, Sugar, Potassium Sorbate, Salt, Mono and Diglycerides, Xanthan Gum, Polysorbate 60, Vanillin, Artificial Flavor. Servings per container is approximately 17!
A 1/4 tsp serving of NuStevia Cocoal Syrup is about 5 cents. With that you ONLY get ZERO calories, ZERO sugar, less than 1 gram of carbs, ZERO Sodium PLUS Glycerin, Water, Cocoa, Stevia Extract. Servings per container is approximately 385!
I know which one I'd choose!
My kids love ice cream. Like many households, we limit our consumption of dairy. However, one day the kids got 'gifted' a 1/2 gallon of Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. From childhood, this has been one of my favorites. Usually I forgo the dairy treat - but not this time! Using 12 ounces of Almond Milk, 2 Tbsp of NuNaturals Cocoa Powder and 1 tsp of NuStevia Mint Cocoa Syrup (Blend and freeze) I was able to savor a little bit of childhood magic without the guilt!
The NuStevia Cocoa Syrup also dresses up plain vanilla protein powders and makes one kickin' Kids Chocolate Banana Almond Smoothie!
Another NuNaturals favorite for our household is their flavored liquid Stevias! Each flavor: Orange, Peppermint, Lemon, Cherry Vanilla, and Vanilla goes wonderfully in hot tea or makes a refreshing drink in Club Soda or ice water.
Best part of these liquid Stevias is that there's no bitter aftertaste and no headache from synthetics!
