"Our goal is to engage a child to love learning history, so that it will become a lifelong passion. If you find your child lingering on a topic he or she is interested in, follow it a little longer! In turn, if he has little interest in a topic and wants to move on, go ahead. The key is to provide exposure to your child. With that he will discover new thoughts and ideas that will spark an interest and feed the desire to know more. By taking cues from your child’s interests, it will allow you to spend more time delving into areas that intrigue him, bringing more delight to the subject. Ultimately, have fun with the study!" Our experience with Project Passport World History Study: Renaissance & Reformation

This past year my 11 year old daughter went through a curriculum that utilized Home School in the Woods hands-on history cd-roms.  What a great time we had weaving our way through american history with engaging text, recipes, crafts and lapbooking.  Armed with this wonderful experience, when I was offered the chance to try out one of their world history programs,  I knew we HAD to give it a spin!

I'm so glad we did.  These project passports give you the ability to go as deep or as quick through a particular part of history that you desire.  As a homeschool mom, I am sold!
