3D Fiberlash Mascara Review!

Here's a review that is completely different!  It's time to try something dramatic and glamorous......

My life is anything but glamorous and it has been a while since I gave serious thought to make up other than a quick touch here and there.  Seeing the incredible pictures of Moodstruck 3D Fiberlash Mascara, I knew this was something I would like to see first hand!

Opening the fancy case, I see there are two components to the mascara.  First, Transplanting Gel and the second, Natural Fibers.

Younique Review

3D Fiberlash Mascara utilizes your own lashes with a unique three step application. First, apply the Transplanting Gel to lashes.  Then apply the Natural Fibers followed by another coat of Transplanting Gel.  It's THAT easy!

Here's a picture of what my lashes looked like without any makeup, with regular store bought mascara and then the 3D Fiberlash Mascara

The Natural Fibers are made from Green Tea Leaves.  Both products are hypoallergenic and safe for contact lens wearers.  This mascara washes off easily with water and facial cleanser.

And just for comparison, here's a picture of me wearing one eye with the Fiberlash and the other with plain old mascara...  WOW!

Our Experience:

Before I started this review, I was concerned that my eyes might feel gritty with the Fiberlash Mascara.  After wearing this makeup for a few hours I did not notice any difference between it and my regular brand in regards to how it felt on my lashes.

What was the reaction in my house?  Well....that was a bit different.  I have to say that while I was impressed that my lashes did indeed look larger than life, I think it was a bit too dramatic for my facial features and overall look.  I did get a consensus from my children that while they love me whole heartedly, it was a look best left to those a wee bit younger than myself.  And in all honesty, I have to agree.

It was fabulous to try 3D Fiberlash and see that it does indeed live up to its' claims.  But, I think I'll be leaving the glamorous lashes to my daughter.  It will be perfect for her dance recitals!

  1. I have found that it looks less over the top dramatic if you don't do the bottom lashes too! You looked amazing!
