HS Highlights Affordable unit studies, chapter books and lapbooks

Science, Literature, Animals, Crafts, History and more!

After looking through their easy to navigate website, my daughter spied a Literature study for ALL nine Little House books.

Little House Unit Studies

This fabulous study covers:  Little House in the Big Woods, Farmer Boy, Little House on the Prairie, On the Banks of Plum Creek, Old Town in the Green Groves, By the Shores of Silver Lake, The Long Winter, Little Town on the Prairie, These Happy Golden Years, and The First Four Years.

Each book is divided into 10 lessons with some lessons covering more than one chapter.

For each lesson there is daily journaling, the 5 w's (who, what, where, why and how), vocabulary, story elements, sequence of activity and handwriting.  It's very easy to adapt this to your child's learning needs and desires.  Plus if you don't want to print out all the pages, your child can easily write their answers in a notebook.

Following the chapter studies there are 20 other optional activities to choose from centering around newspaper writing, art, poetry and more!

American Girls, Pilgrim's Progress, The Hobbit are just a few of the titles.  The list goes on in the genres of literature, science, crafts and history!

HS Highlights' goal is to bring home educators reasonably priced unit studies.  I say they do a wonderful job at this plus a wide variety of activities in a wide variety of subject choices.

I am overjoyed to have found this company and will gladly include them in our next year's homeschooling purchases!
