Teaching with Legos - Medieval History
When my boys (now aged 15 and 12) were younger, one of their favorite things was to reenact specific periods of history using Legos. Generally they would build a favorite structure (Parthenon, Tabernacle, etc) but sometimes they would incorporate other items to make a whole "scene."
In this post, they built their own village - complete with a mini-wheat roof. (How cool is that?!)
In a twist of history, the Arab traders come TO the Vikings....
Lego mini figures fit nicely into the Viking warships
No meal in complete with a "piggy" for dinner!
This was definitely one of their favorite time periods in history!
